Kristanna.com: Please explain Kristanna's Norwegian connection.

Rande Loken: Kristanna has Norwegian ancestry. Her parents were born in Northern Wisconsin, where many Norwegian immigrants settled, including her own relatives. Kristanna has distant relatives from both her mother's and father's side of the family still living in Norway.

Kristanna.com: Can you tell us about Chris and Tanya's writing?

Rande Loken: Chris has been a writer most of his adult life. He is currently working on a three generation saga about Norwegian immigrants roaming into the big pine country of Northern Wisconsin and carrying out a family farm. He extended these deals with the rise, dealings, and full of the family farm and it's way of life. Chris and Tanya collaborated on a non-fiction book about the father/daughter relationship.

Kristanna.com: Did Kristanna celebrate Christmas at The LoveApple Farm this year? How do you celebrate Christmas?

Rande Loken: Yes, Kristanna came home to LoveApple Farm to spend Christmas and New Years with her family. She loves the farm and she is very close to her mother, father and sister Tanya. We celebrate Christmas in the Norwegian tradition, serving a big Christmas eve feast of such foods as "lutefisk and lefse". Many times we travel to Wisconsin to be with all our families over the Christmas holidays.
